Anyone know where to find free software to edit text in PDFs?
Adobe Acrobat has a text touch-up tool but Acrobat is $200.
Any Mac has the ability to modify PDFs (re-order, delete or add pages) using Preview which is part of OS X. The Intel Macs have the ability to run Windoze too.
Thanx Rob, what a valuable tool for anyone in the mortgage industry. So many documents come with extra unwanted pages, upside down or split in multiple pieces. Adobe’s program to rectify this usually costs over $400
Brother printers/scanners/faxes come with PaperPort. It is an excellent tool to deal with pdfs.
I am curious to see how the others compare.
CMT – Great tip. Didn’t know you could print PDFs without buying Adobe. I would also be curious to know how to edit PDF text for free. Does anyone know? Thanks
